This past weekend we had the honour of collaborating with the Lo Delta Kite Festival organised by Catalan kite clubs KiteRebels, Calaveras de la Delta and water sports school Ebre Surfers.
With over 40 riders, Lo Delta Kite Festival was a major success for its first event. Riders competed in three categories: Big Air, Freeride, and Freestyle.
Riders used the KANARA Sport app in the first freeride regatta, with the kiters squaring off in a speed race. Big air competitors used the Surfr app to measure their jumps. It is exciting to see how technology is making its debut in kite competitions, giving event-goers new, fun ways to interact and engage with one another.

A lot of effort went into organising Lo Delta Kite Festival and making sure that it was a success. Events are important to the water sports community. They play a major part in how we come together, meet with other members of the community and get to share our passion.
We are stoked to have the opportunity to have our app used by the community in events and competitions. We are so grateful for the positive feedback and support. If you took part in the free ride challenge, don’t forget to share your feedback with us so we can make the next event even better!
Thank you again to all of the organisers and collaborators. We look forward to the next event and seeing everyone again for even more action and fun!
